The IIC, IEDC and E- Cell of National College of pharmacy had jointly organized and conducted “National Education Day” on 11th November, 2022 at 10 am. This particular event is celebrated on account of National Education Day, every year to mark the Birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad who served as the First Minister of Education of Independent India. The programme was inaugurated by the Principal of National College of Pharmacy. This year National Education day was celebrated on the theme “Changing course, Transforming Education’’. The programme was planned to be conducted in two sessions. Essay writing competition (based on education day theme) was scheduled at 10am where students were asked to write essays based on New Education policy and its impacts in developing practical skills. The afternoon session was elocution competition where the interested students participated and spoke about the New Education policy as well as the Innovation Ecosystem in Medical Arena. Dr Nidhin and Dr Najeeb, Associate Professors of KMCT Ayurveda College judged the competition. The best essay writing winners and elocution competition winners were awarded with a cash prize of Rs 500. The session concluded at 3.00 pm
